If you have decided to delete your Vev account, this guide will walk you through the necessary steps. Please read the following information carefully, as account deletion is a permanent and irreversible action.

Understanding Account Deletion

It is important to understand the difference between account deletion and other actions.

  • Deleting Your Account: This is a permanent action that completely erases your account from Vev's systems. You will lose access to all projects and data forever.

  • Deleting Your User Profile: This is a separate action that only removes your public-facing profile information and does not delete your account or projects.

Prerequisites Before Account Deletion

Before you contact support to delete your account, you must complete the following two steps. This ensures you do not incur further charges and allows you to preserve any projects you wish to keep.

Step 1: Cancel Your Active Subscription

To prevent future billing, you must cancel any active subscriptions linked to your Vev account.

How to cancel:

  1. Log in to your Vev account.

  2. Navigate to your account's billing or subscription settings.

  3. Follow the prompts to cancel your subscription.

Step 2: Unpublish Your Projects

Once your account is deleted, all projects associated with it will be permanently lost. If you wish to keep a copy of a project or share it publicly later, you must unpublish it and download its assets before proceeding.

What happens if you don't unpublish:
All of your projects, whether published or not, will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

How to Request Account Deletion

You can only delete your Vev account by directly contacting our support team. They will guide you through the verification process to confirm your identity.

Contact Vev Support

To start the account deletion process, please use one of the following methods:

  • Live Chat: Initiate a conversation by clicking the chat bubble icon in the lower-right corner of the Vev website.

  • Email: Send your account deletion request to support@vev.design.

When you contact support, please clearly state that you wish to permanently delete your account and confirm that you have completed the prerequisite steps.
