Deleting your user profile from Vev is a straightforward process, but it's essential to understand the implications before proceeding. Keep in mind that a user profile and an account are distinct entities within Vev. Your user profile contains personal data associated with your registration and email address, while an account is a collaborative space where you work with other members on projects and hosting.
Important notes
Deleting your user profile is irreversible and cannot be undone.
Profile deletion does not cancel active subscriptions or unpublish any of your projects. To stop subscriptions, cancel them in your settings. To unpublish projects, use the projects publishing menu.
How to delete your profile
If you no longer wish to keep your account, you can delete your profile at any time.
Go to your Dashboard.
In the top-left corner, click on your avatar (profile picture).
Select My profile to open your profile details.
Navigate to the bottom of the window and click Delete my profile.
A confirmation message will appear asking you to verify the deletion.
Enter the requested word to confirm, then complete the process.
What happens to your projects after profile removal
Account with others
If you are part of an account with other members, your projects, folders, and teams will be transferred to the account owner.
Solo member
If you are the sole member of your team, your projects will be removed.
Note that projects will not be unpublished automatically, and they will remain live unless you manually unpublish them before deleting your profile.
