Ready to take your Drupal sites to the next level? Vev's Embed Anywhere feature lets you plug cutting-edge interactive content made in Vev directly into your Drupal projects—from video sections and forms, to parallax effects, horizontal scrolling, advanced animations, and beyond.

We've made this as easy as possible on our side, but just as a heads up, Drupal will restrict you from inserting code snippets into articles right away and you'll need to enable a few filters so that your Vev content will render properly.

Let's walk through exactly how embedding Vev content in Drupal works.

Disable the "Limit allowed HTML tags and correct faulty HTML" in CKEditor

Drupal comes with the "CKEditor" Text Editor which is a WYSIWYG Editor. Head to the editor to execute the following steps:

  • Go to Configuration

  • Select Content authoring

  • Select Text formats and editor

  • Click on Configure for the Full HTML text format

  • In Full HTML select your authorized user groups

  • Make sure that you have selected the CKEditor

  • In Enabled Filters uncheck Limit allowed HTML tags and correct faulty HTML

  • Hit Save configuration

Publish your article with your Vev embed code

  • Open the Drupal article you want to embed Vev content into in Edit mode

  • Click the </> Source button in the Style panel of your Text Editor

  • Paste your Vev embed code to your desired location in the article

  • Make sure that your Text format is Full HTML since you have removed the restriction for your HTML tags

  • Save and Preview

And that's it! Your gorgeous Vev content is now in Drupal. 🔥
