Subscriptions and Billing in Vev

Manage your subscription, view invoices, and update your billing details directly from your Vev account.

How Subscription Management Works

Vev uses Stripe, a secure payment platform, to handle all billing and subscription management. To access your billing settings, you need to be either an Owner or Admin of the account.

The Stripe customer portal allows you to:

  • View and manage your subscription details

  • Access your complete invoice history

  • See upcoming invoices and billing forecasts

  • Update your billing address and information

  • Change your payment method

  • Cancel your subscription

How to Access Your Billing Settings

Follow these steps to manage your subscription and billing:

  1. Go to your Vev Dashboard

  2. On the left sidebar, click your company avatar at the top

  3. Hover over your account name to reveal the settings icon (cogwheel)

  4. Click the cogwheel to enter Account Overview

  5. Select Manage Subscription to open the Stripe portal

Changing Your Account Plan

For Free, Solo, and Pro Plans

To upgrade or downgrade your plan:

  1. Click Change plan in your Account Overview

  2. Select your desired plan from the available options

  3. If you haven't added billing information previously, you'll be guided through the checkout process

  4. If your billing details are already on file, confirm the upgrade to complete the change

For Organization Plan Users

If you're on the Organization plan, please contact us directly for any plan changes:

Understanding Prorated Billing

When you make changes to your subscription between billing cycles, Vev automatically calculates prorated charges or credits.

Example: If you add a new user halfway through your monthly billing cycle, you'll only be charged for the remaining two weeks until your next regular billing date.

Canceling Your Subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time through the Manage Subscription section in your Account Overview. This will redirect you to the Stripe customer portal where you can complete the cancellation process.

Important notes about cancellation:

  • Your subscription remains active until the end of your current billing period

  • Your team will be disbanded upon cancellation

  • All team members on your account will be reverted to the Free plan

  • All project plans will be automatically removed.
