Subscriptions and Billing in Vev

Manage your subscription, view invoices, and update your billing details directly from your Vev account.

🚨 This article applies differently depending on your plan type.

  • Legacy plans: Solo and Professional

  • New team-based plans: Basic, Growth, Scale, Enterprise

Legacy plans no longer support plan changes.

If you are on a Solo or Professional plan, you cannot upgrade or downgrade within legacy tiers. You may keep your plan as-is, or you may cancel it. Upgrades are available only to the new team-based plans, which require a quote from our commercial team.

How Subscription Management Works

Vev uses Stripe, a secure payment platform, to handle all billing and subscription management. To access your billing settings, you need to be either an Owner or Admin of the account.

The Stripe customer portal allows you to:

  • View and manage your subscription details

  • Access your complete invoice history

  • See upcoming invoices and billing forecasts

  • Update your billing address and information

  • Change your payment method

  • Cancel your subscription

How to Access Your Billing Settings

Follow these steps to manage your subscription and billing:

  1. Go to your Vev Dashboard

  2. Click your company avatar on the left sidebar

  3. Hover over your account name to reveal the setting icon (cogwheel)

  4. Click the cogwheel to enter Account Overview

  5. Select Manage Subscription to open the Stripe portal

Changing Your Account Plan

If you are on a Legacy Plan (Solo or Professional)

Legacy plans are no longer eligible for plan changes within the old tiers. This means:

  • You cannot upgrade from Solo to Professional

  • You cannot downgrade from Professional to Solo

  • You cannot change between any legacy tiers

You may:

  • Keep your existing legacy plan with no changes, or

  • Upgrade to one of the new team-based plans (Basic, Growth, Scale, Enterprise) by requesting a quote

  • Cancel your subscription at any time

If you are on a new team-based plan (Basic, Growth, Scale, Enterprise)

Plan changes are handled directly through our commercial team.

To request changes, please contact your account representative

Understanding Prorated Billing

Prorated billing applies only to legacy plans. For detailed examples of proration on legacy plans, see Prorated Billing in Vev.

Cancelling Your Subscription

For legacy plans (Solo and Professional), you can cancel your plan at any time through Manage Subscription. Note that you cannot reactivate legacy plans once cancelled.

Important notes:

  • Your plan remains active until the end of your current billing period

  • Your team will be disbanded upon cancellation

  • All members revert to the Free plan

  • All project plans are removed on cancellation
