Vev creates static websites, which means data submissions cannot be stored or processed through Vev's native elements e.g., quiz questions. To have forms where you collect the submissions to analyze them, you'll need to use a third-party service provider, you'll be able to use our Embed Anything element to integrate any external forms. Learn how to use it and how to embed a number of form service providers below.

Adding forms via embed anything

You'll need to use the Embed Anything element to embed external forms. To start:

  • Navigate to the Add Menu (shortcut M)

  • Search for and select Embed Anything Element

  • Click and drag the element onto your canvas (Tip: Embed anything element can also added as a section)

  • Double-click on the Embed Anything element to paste in your HTML embed code

Be aware that not all embed codes will display in the Editor. Some may only render in the published version.

Form service providers

There are a variety of different service providers that allow you to embed forms onto web pages. We have already added a few service providers in Vev with dedicated elements that you can use; for any others, you can simply use the embed anything element.

Below are some popular form service providers and steps on how to embed your form in Vev. If your chosen provider is not listed below, please visit their website. Most providers will have documentation on how to embed their forms via their support/help pages.

Note: Some service providers use iframes for their embed codes. An iframe (inline frame) is an HTML document embedded inside another HTML document on a website. Because of this, you will need to change the design of the form via the provider's embed options.
