Common Ninja is a great resource for website designers and marketers alike — providing a library of over 100 ready-to-use website design widgets to save you from building them from scratch. Using Vev's Embed Anything element, you can easily bring any of these widgets directly into your Vev designs.
Follow this guide to add and manage Common Ninja widgets in Vev.
Step 1: Copy the Embed Code from Common Ninja
Log in or create an account on Common Ninja.
Navigate to your widget dashboard.
Click the code icon next to the widget you want to use.
Select Copy Code — this copies the widget’s embed code to your clipboard.
Step 2: Add the Widget in Vev
Open your project in Vev.
From the Add menu (shortcut: M), search for Embed Anything.
Drag it onto the canvas or add it as a section.
Double-click the Embed Anything element, then paste the embed code you copied from Common Ninja.
Your widget will now appear directly inside your Vev project.
Updating the Widget
You can make updates directly in your Common Ninja dashboard, and they’ll sync automatically with your Vev design. Just note there might be a short delay before changes are visible in Vev.
Reminder: Always publish your Vev project after updating a widget to ensure the latest version is live.
