Updated this week

Starting March 11, 2025, we’re making changes to Vev’s pricing, plans, and permissions to better serve our users and scale with our growing community. These updates include:

  • A new Solo plan for individual creators and freelancers.

  • Adjustments to Pro plan limits for users, project plans, and domains.

  • Changes to guest permissions to streamline collaboration and security.

  • Custom roles in the Org plan for greater permission flexibility.

These updates ensure that Vev remains a powerful and sustainable platform while providing clear upgrade paths for those who need more flexibility.

Why are we introducing the Solo plan?

We’ve heard from many of you that the gap between the Free and Pro plans was too large. The Solo plan is designed for individuals and freelancers who want more control over their projects without needing full team collaboration features.

With Solo, you get 1 included project plan (additional projects available for $7 per project/month) and your own domain, making it a great fit for small-scale web projects.

If you're currently on the Starter plan, your account will be moved to the Free plan unless you upgrade to Solo or another plan.

What’s changing in the Pro plan?

The Pro plan will have new limits:

  • Users: Up to 5 users per account ($59 per user/month).

  • Project plans: Up to 10 project plans ($7 per project plan/month).

  • Domains: Up to 3 unique domains.

  • Includes 1 free project plan.

If your account already exceeds these limits, don’t worry, you’ll keep all your existing project plans, users, and domains. However, you won’t be able to add more beyond these thresholds unless you upgrade to an Org plan.

Changes to Guest permissions

We’re also updating guest permissions to provide a clearer collaboration structure:

  • Guests will only have "View" and "Edit" access, and they will no longer be able to publish.

  • Anyone needing publishing rights must be added as a member to the account.

These changes prevent unintentional modifications while ensuring that publishing rights are clearly managed by account owners.

If you're on the Org plan, we’re introducing custom roles, meaning you can fine-tune permissions, create additional roles, and define specific access levels for different team members.

Do I need to take any action?

  • If you’re on Starter, you’ll be automatically moved to the Free plan.

  • If you’re on Pro, your account will continue with all existing resources but will be subject to the new limits moving forward.
