In Vev, you can copy anything to your clipboard - from a section to individual elements and paste them in another section, or copy to another project entirely.

What Can You Copy in Vev?

In Vev, you can copy almost anything to your clipboard, including:

  • Individual elements (e.g., text, images, buttons)

  • Multiple components at once

  • Entire sections

If you want to reuse an entire project, it may be easier to duplicate the project instead of copying and pasting.

How to Copy and Paste

Follow these steps to copy and paste in Vev:

  1. Select the item you want to copy

    • This can be an element, component, or section.

  2. Copy the item

    • Right-click and choose Copy

    • Or use the keyboard shortcut:

      • Mac: ⌘ + C

      • Windows: Ctrl + C

  3. Navigate to the destination

    • Open the section or project where you want to paste the item.

  4. Paste the item

    • Right-click and choose Paste

    • Or use the keyboard shortcut:

      • Mac: ⌘ + V

      • Windows: Ctrl + V

Best Practices

  • Use copy/paste for quick transfers of individual or grouped elements.

  • Use duplicate project for copying an entire project into a new workspace.
