Embed your Instagram posts into your Vev project.

Vev allows you to easily embed Instagram posts into your project using the Instagram component. This is ideal for showcasing social content, testimonials, or promotional visuals directly from your Instagram feed.

You only need the post URL to embed the content.

How to Add an Instagram Post to Your Project

Get the Instagram Post URL

To copy the link to an Instagram post:

  1. Open the Instagram app or website.

  2. Navigate to the post you want to embed.

  3. Click or tap the three dots (...) in the top-right corner of the post.

  4. Select “Copy Link” from the menu.

You’ll now have the direct post URL copied to your clipboard.

Embed the Post in Vev

  1. From the Add menu, drag the Instagram component onto your canvas.

  2. Double-click the Instagram component on the canvas to select it.

  3. In the Properties panel on the right side of the editor, locate the URL field.

  4. Paste the Instagram post URL into the field.

Optional: Toggle the “Captions” switch if you want the post's caption to be displayed (see image below).

Styling an Instagram element

  • Border: Set a border color, opacity, and line weight for the element's container.

  • Effects: Add different types of shadows or blur effects to the element's container. Learn more about effects.

  • Opacity: Set the element's container transparency.
