Quickly add and customize social share buttons on your project with our native share buttons element. Here's how:
From the top menu bar, click the Add Menu (
Shortcut: M
)Search for and select Share Buttons
Click and drag the element onto your canvas
🎨 Style share buttons
Customize the way your buttons look from the style panel to the right of your canvas. First, make sure you've selected the Share Buttons element on the canvas to activate the style panel on the right of your screen.
Background: Set the container's background color
Text: Set the network name's size and font
Margin: Add margin to each network
Border: Set a border color, opacity, and line weight
Border Radius: Curve the radius of the border
Padding: Add padding to both the container and networks
Effects: Add different types of shadows or blur effects (learn more about effects)
Transform: Set the width and height for each network relative to the element's container
Icons:
Set custom shape: Replace the network's logo with a shape or a custom SVG
Set custom image: Replace the network's logo with an image
⚙️ Configuration options
The default social buttons included in the native element are Facebook, Twitter, and Mail. To change these options, double-click on the Share Buttons element on your canvas to open the configuration options. Here's what you can do:
Parameter | Options |
Activate/Deactivate social apps | Customize which social apps you want to appear in the widget. |
Appearance | Set the element's text and background colors. |
Hide label | Hide the social media app names. Only the logo will show when the label is set to hidden. |
Override auto-URL | The default URL is auto-detected in Vev using your publish domain. You can override the default by adding a custom URL to direct the link to the correct destination. |
