Purchasing a domain directly through Vev is a seamless process designed to make it easy for you to secure and link a custom domain to your project.
How to Buy a Domain
Start by accessing the Hosting overview, in the Account Settings.
Locate and click on the “Buy Domain” button. This will open a purchasing modal where you can begin the domain registration process.
Enter the desired domain name you want to purchase in the provided field. After entering the domain name, click Continue.
A new tab will open, redirecting you to IONOS, our trusted domain registrar partner. Follow the on-screen instructions to select and purchase your domain through IONOS. Upon successful purchase, you will be automatically redirected back to Vev.
Once redirected back to Vev, your newly purchased domain will appear in the hosting list.Wait for a few moments while Vev automatically connects the hosting for your new domain. This typically completes within a few seconds.
You will receive a notification in the Notification Center once your domain setup is complete and ready for use.
