The Text Accordion is a powerful component that organizes a large amount of content into a small, collapsible space. It is ideal for use cases like Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs), as it helps keep your page clean, organized, and interactive, making it more engaging for users.
Adding and Configuring a Text Accordion
Once you have added the Text Accordion component to your canvas, you can begin adjusting its configuration settings.
Add the Component: Add a Text Accordion component to your canvas from the Add Menu.
Open the Configuration modal: Double-click the component on the canvas to open its configuration modal.
Configuration Settings
The configuration panel allows you to customize the behavior and appearance of the Text Accordion:
Title: This is the text that is always visible on the accordion tab. It should be a clear, concise label (e.g., "What is a Text Accordion?").
Text: This is the content that is hidden by default and appears when the user clicks to open the tab.
Read more link: An optional link that you can add to the bottom of the content section.
Link Type: Choose the action for the "Read more link," such as navigating to a new page, scrolling to a specific element, or opening a new browser tab.
Easing: Controls the motion and speed of the opening and closing animation.
Duration: Sets the length of the animation in milliseconds.
Show Icon: A toggle to display an icon (like an arrow or plus sign) on the right side of the tab.
Rotate Icon: A toggle that makes the icon rotate when the user opens or closes a tab, providing a visual cue.
