AI credits are what power Vev's AI features. Every time someone on your team uses an AI feature (e.g. generating a page, an image, or copy), it draws from your organization's monthly credit balance. This article covers which features use credits, how credits are allocated, and how to monitor usage across your team.
Which features use AI credits
All of Vev's AI features consume credits:
Text AI
Image AI
Shapes AI
Element AI
Page AI
How many credits a single use consumes depends on the complexity of your prompt: a more detailed request uses more credits than a simple one. As a general rule, Page AI consumes the most credits, followed by Element AI, since these generate more content in a single run.
How credits are allocated
AI features are available on Organization and Enterprise plans. Your plan tier determines your monthly credit allocation, and fresh credits roll out on the 1st of each month.
One credit equals one US dollar, so your credit balance maps directly to the AI usage included in your plan.
How to track your AI credit usage
You can see exactly how your team is using AI credits from the dashboard:
In the dashboard, click your account icon in the top-left corner.
Select Account Settings.
Go to AI, then click Usage.
From here you'll see a breakdown of which team members have used which AI features, and how many credits each has consumed, useful for keeping an eye on your balance before the monthly reset.
