Privacy and Security

Vev follows a transparent approach to protecting the privacy and security of your content.

Vev Cloud is powered by both Netlify to serve your websites and Cloudflare to serve your media files (images and videos). Additionally, the Vev platform itself is powered by Google Cloud.

Google Cloud services need no introduction and both Netlify and Cloudflare are trusted globally by hundreds of thousands of developers and businesses, such as Nike, Verizon, and Mailchimp (for Netlify) and IBM, Zendesk, and Shopify (for Cloudflare).

You manage your data layer

Vev provides great tools for you to create and serve stunning front-ends for your web content while allowing you to connect to other services of your choice to provide the data layer. For example, to make your websites dynamic, you can use the Code Editor to create custom elements that connect to external API’s to fetch data or manipulate records. Integrations with services like Google Analytics are another example of how Vev can connect with the outside world without having to store data within the Vev platform itself.
