How to use
Use the Image widget to display images within the Canvas of your project. Select it from the "Add Widget" menu and draw it wherever you like. You may also draw images directly from your asset library.
Crop, Stretch and Focal Point
Fine-tune how your Image is displayed using the "Cropping"-editor in the right panel. Move the blue circle on the image thumbnail to set which part of the image Vev should focus to when using the "Crop" image mode. If you select "Fit", we will make sure that the entire image is visible. Be aware that this might cause your Image to be stretched if the widget size does not match the image aspect ratio.
Full Width Images
If you want to create Images that stretch across the users screen, set the background-image property on your target section in the right-panel, as seen below.
We automatically convert your images and use the HTML srcset attribute to serve your viewers the ideal image size based on their device modes.
Different images for different devices
To change which Image is displayed on a different device, you need to add a new Image widget on the device mode you want it on. Then open the Layers-panel and hide the image widget on the other device modes.
To add alternative text to your images, double-click them or click the "Edit" icon on your image in your asset library. Enter the alternative text into the Description field of your image.
