Draw content on your Canvas using click and drag. Vev comes with a range of public widgets and a developer tool to create your own.
Content elements are called Widgets in Vev. They are all components built in React, ready to be used and customized as you want.
Add widgets to your project by opening the Add menu, then selecting the Widgets tab. With your Widget selected, click on the Canvas or click and drag to draw to a specific size.
The element you draw is added as a child to the section you are currently drawing it in. This is demonstrated through the Layers panel and with a line from the top left corner of the widget and the section origin.
Editing a Widget
When you select a widget, editing options will appear on the right side edit bar.
A lot of the widgets available to you will also come with a widget form for you to adjust settings or data. This form is accessible when you double-click on a widget.
All widgets can be positioned and resized using the "Transform Editor" which enables you to position content freely on the canvas.
