Using Vev plugins
Making your web content ready for the web involves more than simply publishing it. You likely want to:
  • Manage SEO (Search Engine Optimization) to make your content more discoverable by search engines
  • Use analytics tools to measure the performance of your web content
  • Extend functionality by adding your own custom scripts
Plugins are what allow you to do just that in Vev.

Step 1 - Make sure you have a hosting setup ready

As plugins cannot be enabled in Vev Sandbox (see Extra: Vev Sandbox), you need to have your project hosted either using Vev Cloud or on your own servers. See Hosting: Vev Cloud and Hosting: Advanced for details on how to do that.

Step 2 - Go to that hosting setup

Quick guide: Dashboard > Burger menu (top right) > Hosting > Your hosting settings

Step 3 - Add a plugin

Quick guide: Plugins > Add Plugin > Choose
Vev comes with a number of built-in plugins which you can easily add to your project, which allow you to add:
  • Analytics and marketing tracking tools Such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Facebook Pixel.

  • Custom scripts For adding your own Javascript scripts.

Step 4 - Configure it
